Week Two: Missing My High School Days
March 3rd,2020
Whew! week one was harder than I expected! The next morning after my running routine my muscles ache but I was delighted to realize that I had woken up earlier than I have in the past month! I usually do not hesitate to sleep in but that morning I had a couple hours to spare to prepare breakfast and properly groom myself before I started my day. To put it simply I felt refreshed! Running and exercise in general is proven to improve one's mental wellbeing. Running improves blood circulation to the brain, and releases endorphins which can improve sleep, relieve stress and boost one's overall mood (Robinson,2020)
Therefore, going into week two I had a clearer mindset and was determined to push myself a little more. I chose to practice the same Low-Intensity Interval Training route that I did last week because I found that it worked best for me and my circumstances.

This is a great example of how our experiences earlier in life can be utilized to help not only ourselves but others in present time and the future. You stated how running or exercise in general is good for the mental. I agree 100%, and I also added exercise into my daily routines. During this pandemic, its important that we keep our immune systems in good health.
